The College Woman’s Club of Westfield is pleased to announce
the 2020 Scholarship recipients.
The College Woman’s Club of Westfield awarded $40,000 in Scholarships at its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 via a live teleconference event. The awards were presented to six young women from Westfield to help them pursue their college education. The recipients were selected based on academic achievement, community service, and financial need.

Annabella Cerria $1500 Past Presidents Scholarship;
$6500 College Woman’s Club of Westfield Scholarship;
Planning to study the Classics or Political Science at The University of St. Andrews, in Scotland
Emily Ensslin
$11,000 College Woman’s Club of Westfield Scholarship;
Planning to become a nurse and will attend Northeastern University.
Emma Karp
$11,000 College Woman’s Club of Westfield Scholarship;
Planning to study entrepreneurship at Indiana University.
Theresa Lizzo
$2000 Eva Wiley Scholarship;
$3000 College Woman’s Club of Westfield Scholarship;
Planning to major in Speech Pathology/Communications Sciences and Disorders at George Washington University.
Remi Shendell
$2000 Freshman Grant in Memory of Katherine Jaruzelski;
Planning to major in Biology and will attend Emory University.
Julia Singer
$3000 Freshman Grant in Memory of Jane Orto;
Planning to attend Villanova University.
