Webinar Recap: I Wish I Knew Then What I Know Now

Our event, I Wish I Knew Then What I Know Now, was held last week.  We thank our moderator, Elena Arida, and our five panelists, Christina Arida, Liz Brucia, Jessica Doyle, Grace Cash and Caroline Wargo for sharing their time and experience with the group.

Our conversation covered college hunting, time management, declaring a major, taking advantage of the many opportunities that college campus offers and more.  If you were not able to join us, we recorded our event for you.

In late February/early March 2021, we plan to host a Zoom webinar focused on mental health.  Additionally, we have an event scheduled on March 18, with Karen Chasen from Prepare, Inc.  She will walk us through a one-hour class on self-defense. Please come back to our website in early February for further details.

2020 was a year filled with turmoil and angst. Yet, everyone hunkered down, and we have all accomplished much more than was ever anticipated. With COVID, The College Woman’s Club has seen a decrease in donations and an increased need for scholarships for local women. These scholarships directly and immediately grow thanks to donations to and membership in the College Woman’s Club of Westfield.

While no one knows what the future holds, one thing is certain. There will continue to be challenges along the way. Please consider a donation to support a bright new year.

We wish you joy, happiness and good health this holiday season and in the new year.

Anne Wargo, President 2020-2021
