We are thrilled to announce that the annual CWC Sip & Shop event is happening on Wednesday, December 4! This is a fantastic opportunity to support local businesses and give back to the College Woman’s Club (CWC) at the same time.
Three wonderful Westfield establishments are participating in this year’s event. These businesses are not only local favorites but also proud supporters of the CWC. To show our appreciation, we encourage you to do some of your holiday shopping at any or all of these stores. A percentage of sales made within a specified timeframe will be donated to the CWC.
Here’s how you can help: To ensure your sales count towards our fundraiser, please either show the attached flyer at checkout or mention that you would like your purchase to benefit the College Woman’s Club of Westfield.

The J. McLaughlin store will donate 15% of all sales from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on December 4th. In addition, if you cannot make it on that Wednesday, you can shop the weekend prior to the event, on Saturday November 30th and Sunday December 1st. You are able to take your purchases with you but you must leave your credit card information so that your sale will be charged on December 4th. Again, please mention that your sale is to benefit the CWC.
The Evalyn Dunn Gallery will donate 15% of all sales from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on December 4th. The Gallery has generously offered to stay open 1 hour later than usual that day to give members time to drive to their location as they are just outside the Downtown area. FYI, the Gallery has a beautiful design of Mindowaskin Park on a mug and ornament, the sale of which benefits the Westfield United Fund (and also the CWC!) In addition, if you cannot make it on that Wednesday, you can shop the weekend prior to the event, on Friday November 29th from 12-6pm and Saturday November 30th from 12-5pm. Your sale will be charged on those days and still count towards the fundraiser.. Again, please show the Sip & Shop Flyer or mention that you would like your sale to benefit the CWC.
This is the retail arm of the interior design business. It offers housewares, jewelry, handbags and other exquisitely curated offerings. Currently, they are donating 15% of sales to CWC on December 4 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. We are awaiting word as to whether they will also allow for members to shop the weekend before the event, take credit card information and charge purchases on December 4th.
