Westfield, NJ – The College Woman’s Club (CWC) and the College Men’s Club (CMC) of Westfield are excited to announce a collaborative fundraiser in partnership with Shovlin Mattress, located in Fanwood.

The idea for the fundraiser came after CWC member Anne Wargo purchased a mattress from Shovlin last fall and noticed the mattress toppers in the showroom. Recognizing their essential role in dorm room comfort, Wargo saw an opportunity to support both local clubs and college-bound students. “It seemed like a no-brainer to team up, promote our Clubs, and partner with Shovlin Mattress to provide a much-needed item for every college dorm room,” she said. Shovlin Mattress owner Ron Shovlin agreed, and the partnership was formed.

The fundraiser officially launched on March 10, 2025, and will run through the summer as families prepare students for dorm life. Community members are encouraged to visit Shovlin Mattress at 35 South Avenue in Fanwood and mention their support for the CWC/CMC of Westfield when making a purchase.
